Community: 1) Insulting Planetia staff ingame or through any external medium (e.g. forums, irc) is a punishable offence. 2) Insulting other members of the community, racism or any other abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. 3) Pornographic or any content unsuitable for minors is strictly prohibited. 4) User modifiable ingame graphics must not contain any pornographic, hate-spreading or other offensive content. Any offending content will be removed at the discretion of Planetia staff. Account: 1) The staff take no responsibility for what happens to your account. All passwords in the database are stored in an encrypted form, so if you are hacked, it is your fault 2) The usage of any program to interact with any account in the game, other than a web browser is forbidden. Modified or scripted browsers also fall under this category. 3) To prevent abuse of facilities in the game, all your actions are monitored and logged after you login Multiing & Multihunting: 1) Multiple accounts per person are forbidden, strictly one account per person. 2) Multiple accounts per computer are forbidden, if there is someone living with you that also wishes to play they must play on a different computer. 3) Multiple accounts per internet connection are allowed, if you follow the following steps: - Connect to NetGamers IRC, and join #helpdesk - Talk to a helper and provide them with the information they require of you - They shall enable you to register a second account and record some data for the purpose of preventing cheating Please note, the safety note they give you does not in anyway make you exempt from being closed. 4) If you play from a public place, e.g. school, university, work, etc. you should treat it as if someone else is also playing from that internet connection, and so should report yourself as detailed above. 5) Account sharing is prohibited, as is any method for controlling someone else's planet. 6) Transferring ownership of an account is prohibited. Farming: 1) Farming is defined in multiple ways, examples include: - attacking someone with their consent, with the aim of the attacker gaining orbitals (roid farming), or with the aim of any of the fleets involved stealing ships (ship farming) - attacking a planet multiple times with mainly capture or steal type ships with sole objective to capture orbitals or stealing ships - stealing orbitals or ships from someone whose only purpose is to provide orbitals or ships for other people - stealing orbitals or ships from someone who no longer wishes to play and who has allowed or would prefer the attacker to gain the orbitals or ships as opposed to any other person 2) Farming in all or any form is illegal. 3) Farming cases are handled on an individual basis and are down to the judgement of the hunting/administration teams Bugs: 1) There may be coding errors or flaws in the game mechanisms, these are bugs and you are required to report any you are aware of to the game staff. 2) Knowledge of a bug is a punishable offence if you do not report it to the game staff. 3) Any loopholes in this EULA shall be classed as a bug. 4) Abusing, or using any bug to your advantage, or the advantage of someone associated to you is strictly prohibited. Breaking any of the above rules will result in the closure of your account. Closed accounts have 5 days to contact a staff member via our IRC closure support channel (irc.netgamers.org #hunters) and resolve the matter. After that time has passed, the account will be automatically deleted. Planets deleted cannot be recovered. We reserve the right to modify this EULA with no prior notification.
